The Cover Story

Laid off.
Rebuilt on her
own terms.

I'm Kim McKenna — a Gen-X woman who got handed a severance package and decided to build something better. Now I make websites, AI tools, and small, useful businesses for people who'd rather create than scroll. This is the studio. Everything below is live, in progress, or coming soon.

The Reinvention

I'm not an
influencer.
I'm a builder.

After almost three decades climbing the corporate ladder, the ladder got pulled out from under me — along with about twenty-five other smart, capable people. I didn't want to start over. I wanted to start differently.

So I taught myself to build with AI. Not to chase clout, but to make the things I kept wishing existed: a website that doesn't cost ten grand. A travel planner that finishes the spreadsheet for you. A brand kit that takes 60 seconds instead of 6 weeks.

Everything here is built in public, by one woman, with help from machines that finally got good. It's practical, opinionated, occasionally funny, and quietly Gen-X — which is to say, allergic to bullshit and deeply unbothered by what's trending.

If you're reinventing too, you're in the right place.

The Ecosystem

Five projects · One founder

Each of these is its own small business — built, shipped, and slowly compounding. Some are tools, some are stores, some are love letters to a dog. All of them are real.
